Whether they are providing general care, offering wellness advice or focusing on specialized treatment options, each of our physicians is committed to caring for women for life.

Brett A. Bowie, M.D.

Brett A. Bowie, M.D.

Dr. Brett A. Bowie is a graduate of Auburn University. He earned a Master’s Degree in Education from State University of West Georgia and attended Mercer University School of Medicine.

Following his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Kentucky, Bowie has been practicing Obstetrics & Gynecology in LaGrange since 2004.

Dr. Bowie is a board certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He currently serves as chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at West Georgia Health and as Medical Director of the Pregnancy Center of LaGrange.

He is also on staff at Medical College of Georgia as a clinical professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology. His hobbies include participating in triathlons and spending time with his wife and two children.

Michael Bakarich, D.O.

Michael Bakarich, D.O.

Dr. Michael Bakarich earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Belhaven College where he was on the President’s List for 3 consecutive years. His medical degree was received from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Bakarich served an internship in family practice at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK, followed by a 1 year residency in family practice at the University of Kentucky.

He completed his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at University of Kentucky where he served as Chief Resident during his last year. He also practiced Obstetrics & Gynecology for three years in Richmond, KY serving as chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Bakarich is a board certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and serves on staff at Medical College of Georgia as a clinical professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has been practicing Obstetrics & Gynecology in LaGrange since 2008.

Dr. Bakarich is married with six children.

Stephanie White

Stephanie White

Stephanie White earned her Associate’s degree in nursing from Southern Union State Community College and Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Jacksonville State University.

Ms. White received a Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is a certified Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

She has worked as a nurse for 10 years now with the last 7 years focusing on women’s health, labor and delivery.

Ms. White is a lifelong resident of Randolph County, Alabama where she lives with her son, Caleb.
